THE HOUSE OF KRAMIT / KRAMIT - ACOUSTIC DUO |
Featuring stars of stage and screen Candy and John Hendry-Blair, this exciting new band builds on a successful eleven-year partnership affectionately known by Southland audiences as ‘Kramit’. |
| |
Kramit, given this name by their own crowd due to their ability to 'Kramit all in', play 4 dynamic 45 minute sets of covered and original music. Although a duo they give the impression of a full band due to their full acoustic bass, strong rhythm guitar and exceptional harmonies. |
| |
Kramit as a duo, and John and Candy as individuals, are Southland icons and have done exceptionally well in the Invercargill and South Island music scene with their original music, as well as in the operatics society. Last year John took home Bass player of the year, while their new album "The Next Session' took out Best Album 2010. Candy took home best female vocalist in 2003 and both have performed in a strong of stage shows, promoting their all encompassing talent for the stage. |
